Community Education News
Before the final bell even rings and summer begins, something familiar starts to happen across the district, families begin planning ahead. Not just for time off school, but for what comes next. For some students, that means full days of play and discovery. For others, it’s a chance to catch up, get ahead, or take their very first steps into school.
Early Learning | Pre School - PreK

SUSD offers tuition-based programs for Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K). Throughout our preschool and Pre-K programs, certified and licensed teachers provide developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to each child, ultimately preparing them for Kindergarten.
Enrichment Zone

Enrichment Zone provides students with creative opportunities for after the school day enrichment classes that create a desire to learn. Classes are offered throughout the year and provided from several local vendors. Our classes allow students to explore activities that interest them outside of the regular school day.

Kids Club offers before and after school child care at participating schools. SUSD Kids' Club is licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Students are greeted each day by qualified child care specialists who facilitate activities that may include: arts and crafts, active group games, sports, team-building exercises, science, technology and supervised homework time. Snacks are served every day.
